There is no Photoshop CC 2014.2.1.
Photoshop 14.2.1 is Photoshop CC. The one that came right after CS6. 14.0 was released in 2013 if memory serves. Version 14.2.1 was released in early 2014, but it is not Photoshop 2014.
Photoshop CC 2014 was released later in 2014, and as of this writing 2014.1 (AKA 15.1) is the most recent version that has been released, back in August I believe. Presumably some or all of the numbers will increment again when the next iteration is released. But they might choose to call it George.
It's like a soap opera of version numbering.
I'm convinced that Marketing people are being taught somewhere that "branding" products with confusing version numbers is somehow good; it creates buzz in the press or something. I'm sure they paid premium prices at the most prestigious colleges for the training on how to do that.
Off to play with Windows 8.2, er, 9, er, 10, yeah 10, that's what they're calling it.
