It is 100% width. The problem is, when I view the site at half monitor width, there's still a scroll bar at the bottom of the browser window. When I horizontally scroll, it exposes how the black box doesn't go all the way to the side of the page. .
I've had various issues with the 100% feature in muse for the past year.
