I've actually been looking into The XMP SDK. Those error print outs where from me trying to build the sample code projects, which for someone at my programing level would be required for me to make what I need. I started these posts on the XMP dev community and didn't receive any replys yet. Adobe support on twitter recommended I comment in this community for support. I deleted the old post but I've made another that goes over an error I get when trying to build the framework in Xcode. So two things I need help with. actually building the sdk from Xcode which only has one error and then building the sample project files.

Basically with my experience I'm hitting too many road bumps before I even start rolling. If you had a contact in that community I would appreciate their feedback.
In the mean time I will definitely try the sidecar approach. The software @SteveG(AudioMasters) mentioned seemed promising but I believe it's for windows only.
