We've just recently started using UltraStudio 4K by Blackmagic, and I honestly have to say that it is far better at just about everything related to Premiere than anything else we've tried. We don't use it for voice overs, but have a simple USB mic that brings the audio into Premiere right to the timeline. The Ultrastudio could audio voice over in as it has analog audio inputs in, but the Scarlett USB mic input is just cleaners as it has 48v phantom and simple USB right to our Mac. It all allows to use any mic. We are bringing both SD-SDI (AES audio) and HD-SDI (embedded audio) in through and out of Premiere using capture through the UltraStudio.
Works like a snap. Tried some Aja devices before and did have some voice over issues with what appeared to be conflicts in system drivers.
